Pickup in Barcelona or Mataró
Collect the van at our free pickup point in Mataró (30 minutes from Barcelona, easy parking for your own car) or choose delivery in Barcelona city for a small fee — you pick the location during booking.
Check-in is digital and done in advance from your phone; on pickup day you just inspect the van and take the keys. Self-service pickup with no waiting is also available.
What's included
100 km/day included (upgradable to 200 km/day or unlimited), third-party insurance with roadside assistance, a free second driver, and optional camping gear: full kitchen kit, table and chairs, bedding, bike rack or extra cooler.
The California has a pop-up roof with a double bed up top and another below, outdoor shower, camping hook-up and a parking heater for warm winter nights. Short how-to videos are shared before your trip.
Prices
From €85/night in low season to €140/night in summer, with minimum stays of 3–7 nights depending on the season. The booking calendar shows the exact price for your dates, and you only pay a 30% down payment to confirm.
Where to go from Barcelona
The Costa Brava and Montseny are an hour away; the Pyrenees and the Ebro Delta, two. Catalonia has an excellent network of motorhome areas and year-round campsites, and the compact California lets you explore villages where big motorhomes simply don't fit.

Do I need a special licence?+
No — a standard car licence (EU category B or equivalent) is enough. We ask for 4+ years of driving experience and minimum age 25.
How does the deposit work?+
It's a card pre-authorisation: the amount is held but never charged, and it's released automatically after a smooth return.
Can I sleep anywhere in the van?+
You can overnight (van closed, nothing deployed) wherever parking is allowed, and camp only at campsites and designated areas. We share a map of recommended spots with your booking.
